Who are the weekly USA soccer scholarship trials for?
Our weekly trials are suitable for players typically aged 15–19 who are interested in combining football with higher education in the United States through NCAA, NAIA, or Junior College programmes.

Do I need to be at an elite academy to attend?
No. We assess players from a wide range of backgrounds. What matters is your potential, attitude, academic profile, and long-term goals.
What happens after the assessment session?
After your assessment, we provide honest feedback on your football level and academic suitability for US college soccer. If appropriate, we guide you through the next steps of the IOF USA scholarship pathway.
Who will assess me?
Football assessments are conducted by Russ Hullett, IOF Head of Football and UEFA A Licensed coach, with experience at Manchester United, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Chelsea FC, and as a First-Team Manager in Norway.
USA scholarship guidance is provided by Jamie Bennett, Head of Talent & Pathways, one of the UK’s original pioneers of US sports scholarships.

Do IOF USA offer US college showcase tours?
Yes. IOF USA is one of the only UK-based scholarship companies to take players directly to the USA. Our next US College Showcase Tour takes place in North Carolina from 7–15 April 2026.

Where are the weekly trials held?
All weekly assessments take place at:
Abbotsholme School, Rocester, Staffordshire, ST14 5BS
